Administration in the Air Force is responsible for providing support services to military personnel and units. They may also be responsible for logistics, budgeting, planning and resource management, as well as other duties as assigned by their superiors.

A typical day for an Administration specialist may involve:

  • Collaborating with other administrative personnel to ensure that support services are provided in an efficient and effective manner

  • Participating in training, drills, and exercises to maintain and improve skills in administration

  • Providing guidance and training to other Air Force personnel on administration best practices and procedures

  • Participating in classified and unclassified meetings with other administrative team members and other agencies

  • Participating in military operations, including administrative support services
