Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)

Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)

MEPS stands for Military Entrance Processing Station. MEPS is it’s own location. It is a stand alone building (sometimes it’s on a military base sometimes not) that people wanting to join the military go to, to do their qualifications. A lot of times when you hear MEPS you hear people talk about the MEPS hotel. That is because you stay at the hotel overnight and there is a shuttle that takes you back and forth from the hotel to the MEPS location. Your initial MEPS experience is 2 days so it is broken into Day 1 and Day 2 Depending on your circumstance you will either drive or go to your recruiters office to take the shuttle to the hotel (your recruiter will give you location information).
