Do you bring money to BMT?
Yes. I would suggest bringing (4) $5 bills.
Some flights do donations to laundry crew for laundry detergent, towels, or other items that your flight will use for cleaning details.
It works a lot easier when you can just donate $5 rather than only having a $20 as your smallest bill and being the only trainee who donates over $5.
Other than that, you typically won’t use cash at BMT. You’ll have a prepaid card that you’ll get when you get to BMT that is an advance from your first paycheck. You’ll use that prepaid card to purchase things from the shoppette or BX when you need things.
